Many people like the beginning of a new year because they like to set goals and measure them for their progress at achieving those goals. Common New Years’ Resolutions are:
To lose weight.
To get into better shape.
To be more financially responsible.
To find a significant other.
(and my favorite one)
To find a job or find a better job.
The beginning of a new year can be inspirational and motivational for people. They see it as an opportunity to change, to break from the past and to start over.
On Monday, January 6, 2014, if you are in the mode for employment or new employment, think about starting your job search and see what you can do to reach this goal. One of your first steps could be to download the free e-book Your Job Search, free of charge, on our Products & Services page.
You Job Search will walk you through some basics of your job search: improving your resume, your exposure through networking and some interviewing protocols. All of the information in Your Job Search has been put to the test and has yielded positive results.
Take this time to be proactive as opposed to reactive and you will be glad you did.
